Do you eat fast food or processed foods.
I don't eat fast food or processed foods because I don't believed in fast food or processed foods to be healthy. Therefore I eat according to my tradition I don't think fast or processed foods are safe or healthy to eat, and I worry about the sanitation of this fast foods places and their cooks. According to the TV shows Kitchen Nightmare by chef Gordon Ramsay: "The public should have the right at any time to walk into the kitchen and see how the food is being prepared." Since that is not the case, when it come to the food I eat, I am very picky and concerned that's why I always cook from scratch so that, I know what I am eating. I try my best to eat healthier by loading up on fruit, veggies, whole grains, and lean meat. Healthy food is the healthy life. The types of foods I like is rice serve with fish and vegetable, as of poultry and meat I only eat them occasional. I buy my foods at Sam's club because is whole sale and is more economic compared to other grocery store. I think eating organic foods is better than conventional foods if you can afford because organic foods are healthier, tasty, and safer than conventional foods. According to the reading material Eating Food That's Better for You, Organic or Not.: There is quote "People believe it must be better for you if it's organic," say Phil Howard, an assistant professor of community, food and agriculture at Michigan State University. Because according to the United States Department of Agriculture's definition, means it is generally free of synthetic substances; contains no antibiotics and hormones; has not been irradiated or fertilized with sewage; sludge; was raised without the use of most conventional pesticides; and contains no genetically modified ingredients. But they are very expensive compared to conventional food. I think the safety and the healthy of foods we eat dependent in what kind of food and ecological conscious of the farmers and the foods production companies like in the reading material Organic Food in paragraph 8 ( People don't understand that, nor do they realize "Organic" doesn't mean "local." "It doesn't matter if it's from the farm down the road or from Chile," Ms. Shaffer said. As long as it meets the standards it's organic. When it comes to safety of food we eat is up to the person diet how to eat healthy.

The Struggles of a Young Black Man in America: What obstacles does Jamal have to overcome to succeed?
The obstacles Jamal have to overcome to succeed is lack of privilege due to his race, poverty, and the environment. Jamal being a young black man from the rough neighborhood in the Bronx where young boys feel like there is little hope. Rap or basketball is the only way out, gangs everywhere plus outside world racist in America. In the story, “Finding Forrester,” the author creates a setting to show that Jamal is faced with many obstacles in his life. These difficulties make it hard for Jamal to succeed in life. For example, Jamal grows up in the Bronx in New York. The first scene of the movie takes place were Jamal is playing basketball on a court outside Forrester’s apartment. The scene shows how windswept the neighborhood is.
Growing up in poverty, and living in a poor rough neighborhood; there are few expectations that he will get out of poverty. No support from those in the neighborhood to be anything successful other than a basketball player or rapper. The society which tells him a poor black kid from the ghetto doesn’t have the skills or even the will to become someone successful. That is still a big obstacle today to young black man in America to overcome. Like the Professor Robert Crawford: said [to Jamal] “perhaps your skills do reach farther than basketball”.
Jamal: “Further”
Prof. Robert Crawford: What?
Claire Spence: [whispered to Jamal] don’t…
Jamal: [to Crawford] you said that my skills reached “farther” than basketball. “Farther” relates to distance, “further” is a definition of degree. You should have said “further”.
Prof. Robert Crawford: Are you challenging me, Mr. Wallace?
Jamal: Not any more than you challenged Coleridge.
Conclusion, in this movie the prof. Robert Crawford think Jamal is unable to do classroom work, and then he thinks Jamal is plagiarizing when writing for the contest only because he is from the Bronx. He even said in the movie “he is the basketball player from the Bronx”. The professor made an assumption based on his race, and environment. Forrester said to Jamal “when they don’t understand, they make assumptions”.
